Hundred Families
We support families who have all lost loved ones as a result of killings by people with severe mental illness. There are on average well over 100 such cases across the UK each a year and the families affected often get very little specialist help and support.
We do three things:
- We support and advocate for families
- We work with NHS professionals, to prevent further avoidable tragedies, and
- We provide evidence & training, to influence positive change
We know from our feedback that we are effective and well regarded by families and professionals with whom we work.
If you are assisting a family bereaved as a result of a mental health homicide – please get in touch. We’d be very happy to help.
